Smiley    ...Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 19:14)

Jesus took children's ministry seriously, and so do we, both as a church and as families.  As a church, we provide classes for children on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.  We invite and encourage you to bring your children and attend all three of our weekly services.

We just completed this year's Vacation Bible School.  We look forward to VBS each year.  It presents us with a unique opportunity to teach not only our own children, but others in our community as well.  One of our primary objectives is to make certain the message of the gospel is not lost in the fun and activity of the week.  We intentionally choose a program with substantial lessons.  This year we used the "Things Hidden" curriculum from "Children Desiring God".  The lessons form an evangelistic study for children on kingdom parables.

The help and participation from our adult and youth volunteers this year was incredible!  Sincere thanks go out to all of those who worked so hard and served so willingly and joyfully, and a special thanks to our VBS planners and coordinators, Tommy and Sheri.  You can view pictures (lots of them) from this year's VBS here.
